Day 1.. Late arrival - Arrive Cairo transfer to hotel / Early arrival – transfer to hotel – Egyptian dinner of falafel and bean in restaurant. Transfer to and from hotel. 100 LE

Day 2. After breakfast leave for Alexandria. Visit catacombs, old lighthouse. Lunch in fish restaurant, then visit the new library, overnight in Hotel.

Day 3. After breakfast leave from El Alamein, visit commonwealth war graves and leave for Matrurh. Lunch on the beach. After lunch and a swim we leave for Siwa oasis. Overnight hotel in Siwa.

Day 4. After breakfast, city tour of Siwa, lunch in restaurant. Afternoon visit of the Siwa mountains. Camping for the night by the hot spring. Campfire dinner.

Day 5. Leave by the desert road for Baharayia. Lunch in restaurant. Visit Baharayia museum and 2 toombs. Visit English Mountain for barbecue dinner and watch sunset over the mountain. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6. After breakfasr visit Salt lake. Tea with local farmer then hot spring. See Black desert picnic lunch in cafeteria. Crystal mountain and agabat. Then to the flower stone garden. Camping in white desert with campfire dinner.

Day 7. Breakfast in hot spring, visit Badr museum, leave for dakhla and visit sea of sand and the Islamic city. Lunch in Hotel. Evening city tour and dinner in local restaurant and tea in coffee shop in downtown.

Day 8. After breakfast in hotel leave for Harga, visit Bashandi and drink tea with Egyptian family. Visit Bagawat and Lapkha natural spring. Lunch with Egyptian family then leave for Luxor. Overnight in hotel in Luxor.

Day 9. Visit Valley of the kings and Alabaster factory, then Hatchepssut , Bardi bazaar, lunch in restaurant then Karnak temple. Transfer to Hurgarda. overnight.Hotel.

Day 10. Free day in Hurgarda for the beach. Overniht hotel.

Day 11. Early morning 2am leave for Cairo on special bus.. Arrive Cairo , visit Museum, lunch in restaurant. afternoon free. Dinner Nilecruise.

Day 12. Visit pyramids and saqqara. Visit carpet school. Lunch in restaurant. After lunch visit the citadel. Sound and light show at the pyramids. Overnightin hotel.

Day 13. After breakfast visit Old Egypt and a perfume factory. Lunch in restaurant, then visit the Pharonic Village. Evening Free. Overnight in hotel

Day 14. Transfer to airport for departure.

El Alamein and Alexandria

 

Leave Cairo at 07.00 for el Alamein where you visit the war graves and the museum to the second world war. Then on to Alexandria to to see the catacombs, a large Roman buriel site. We then visit the old fort and have walk on the seafront promenade. Lunch in a fish restaurant. After lunch you visit the magnificent new library before we make out way back to Cairo.
